This wonderful Lancia Fulvia was registered for the first time in Italy, in 1970. 1970 was the only year when the Lancia Fulvia 2C was manufactured with the 4-speed transmission. Its 1.3 petrol engine with 85 HP has a nice and strong sound, thanks also to the silencer in perfect condition, and it is very elastic. The idle speed is 1,000 rpm and the revs of the engine increase with ease. The car steers and brakes well. It is also extremely comfortable, despite its 47 years. The suspension absorbs well the potholes. The gearbox is smooth. This is the luxury version. Among other things, it has intact and working blinds for the rear window, as in the picture. It has vintage Daino mats. The car had 3 previous owners. The odometer reading is 2,171, the real kilometres should be 102,171 km considering the almost flawless interiors and the original leather with almost no signs of wear. The car passed the periodical inspection, that is valid until 07/2019. The underbody is perfect. You can appreciate the original and almost perfect top, which is rare for a 47-year-old car. The colour is the classic Lancia Blue (code MM 1.346.7069). The body has some imperfections, but it has no rust spots (except for some signs inside the engine compartment: here, the water stagnates when it rains, and this left some signs during the 47 years of the car. It is on the surface, the sheet metal is perfectly intact). The mechanics is in order. Over time, these parts were replaced: clutch, silencer, spark plugs, oil and filters (as for the clutch and the silencer, I was verbally informed by the previous owner; in fact, they are in excellent condition). The timing gears are healthy. The mechanics is entirely original. Everything works, also the accessories: from the windscreen wipers to the washer motor and the vintage Autovox Gemini 660 car radio. It is necessary to check the electrical system. Everything works, but the light stalk switch doesn’t always give the right command (this is a problem of all the Lancia cars of that period).
