Very large Tiffany-style hanging lamp of mother of pearl in copper foil
The use of Capiz shells (mother of pearl) instead of stained glass was introduced around 1910 by the Long Island artist Walter Cole Brigham (1870-1941). He developed the so-called copper foil soldering technique and followed the tradition developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) around 1900. This hanging lamp has many dozens of handmade mother of pearl panes. They spread a very romantic and atmospheric light. The lamp can also be used as a floor lamp with your own tripod. Generous diameter of almost half a meter, a true eye-catcher you will never get bored of. Including the collar it is approx 30 cm high. It has a (replaced) E27-fitting and wiring.
In reasonable good condition.
Carefully packaged and sent with Track & Trace.
