- Tibetan Buddhist Manjushri Statue with Shakti, Bodhisattva of Wisdom - Manjushri is the Bodhisattva of keen awareness in Buddhism. A disciple of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni, he represents wisdom, intelligence and realization, and is one of the most popular Bodhisattvas following Avalokitesvara. He is worshipped as the “ Meditational Deity ” in Esoteric Buddhism . The Sanskrit name of Manjushri is “ Prajna ” which means “gentle glory”, “He who is noble and gentle”, “soft glory”, “Wondrous Auspiciousness” and so on.
