This Philips BX410A radio from 1951 is still functional and the original radio cloth is still present. The radio technique is completely checked and repaired where necessary. The plastic cabinet with wood motif also looks beautiful. This unit has 4 broadcasting frequencies, namely: LG-MG-KG and KG-25/30 mtr. band. Particular to the unit is that the tuning scale and the Philips logo are simultaneously lit by 1 light (see photos). A P.U. and extra speaker can be connected on the back. The device was already prepared for a FM reception by means of a FM scale on the top of the curved tuning scale and an FM inverter, but an FM converter was not yet built-in. The unit is set to 245 V/50 Hz, so it is prepared for any further increases of the mains voltage. This radio has a built-in auxiliary circuit, a functioning, beautiful green magic eye and also has tone control. The acquisition value was 295 guilders. The tube setting is: ECH42-EAF42-EBC41-EL41-AZ1 and EM34. The dimensions are: 460x310x225 mm. The weight is approximately 8 kilos. The unit can preferably be picked up in Amersfoort (NL), but can also be sent by registered and insured mail, well packed.
