Very nicely restored Triumph Spitfire Mk3 from 1968 This original Dutch delivered Triumph Spitfire is in a very good condition. Delivered in Tartan red with original rims and chrome centre caps. This MK3 convertible is from 1968 of the 1st series of MK3s and in 2010 it was body-off restored. The Roadster is equipped with new painted rims in Old English White with perfect Vredestein tyres. With fully new chrome parts. This colour combination is beautiful! The interior features new leather seats and, like the exterior, it is in good condition. Exterior: This Spitfire has always been well-maintained, this shows in every part of the car! The exterior is hard and sleek and all joints and hinges fit perfectly and have no blemishes. The soft top is in excellent condition and has no damage, it also comes with a cover for the Spitfire so that when the top is down, it can be covered. The chrome bumpers are new as well as the rubbers, suspension and chrome details. Interior: The interior has two original black leather seats with new filling, a red steel dashboard panel with original Smiths clocks, walnut gear lever knob by Triumph, leather handbrake cover and new Triumph mats. Equipped with an original black carpet set and neat black door cards. The steering wheel is original and made of Bakelite and leather. Both inside and out, really in a very neat condition. Technique: Equipped with the original 1296 cc 4-cylinder engine with 75 hp power, a perfect 4-speed manual and 2 SU carburettors. The maintenance history is known. The mechanical parts have been completely checked in our workshop and the car received a full maintenance service. This Spitfire MK3 is technically in very good condition and received a full engine overhaul in 2010, allowing the Triumph to drive on lead-free petrol.
