DESCRIPTION
Car sold new in Perugia and registered for the first time on 13 November 1971, matching numbers, matching colours, 2,310 km from the restoration.
Complete and very professional restoration made by Carrozzeria Giardinieri Giampaolo, authorised Ferrari/Maserati:
- disassembly of each component;
- sandblasting of body and chassis;
- adjustment on the alignment bench to be sure that the car was perfectly straight and without bumps;
- sheet metal working;
- external paint, interior with the original set-up (Bertone AR601 colour);
- dashboard, seats, door panels, headliner, rear bench and wool carpet were redone;
- electrical system redone, replaced headlights, side indicators and rear lights;
- new water cooler, including all the hoses;
- engine overhauled, bearings and connecting rod replaced, the size of
the crankshaft is standard, replacement of high-compression rods and pistons, rebored cams, Spica system overhauled (€3000), new ignition cables and spark plugs, distributor overhauled;
- revised actuators of the headlight eyelids;
- power brake, master cylinder and clutch pump replaced;
- gearbox disassembly with replacement of seals, gaskets and bearings;
- overhauled differential with complete disassembly, cleaning, bearing replacement and bevel gear adjustment;
- new engine and transmission mounts;
- complete suspension kit by Alfaholics, including bushings, silentblocks, bump stops, steering heads, aluminium torsion bar mounted on Uniball, etc;
- upgraded brake kit by Alfaholics, including front discs, oversized callipers, aviation brake hoses, rear callipers and discs overhauled;
- Alfaholics stainless exhaust, GTA Alfaholics replica wheels, Toyo tyres;
- original parts available with the car;
- polished bumpers and stainless trim, chrome front shield, new car emblems;
- Cicognani gasket set.
RESTORATION FOR OVER €100,000.
