Collectible old Armagnac from Dupeyrou Ryst - Condom (Gers) - in the Bas-Armagnac area. Napoleon / Hors d'âge grade as stated on bottle, aged for some 10, maybe 12 years, according to brandy standards. Strange association this hors d'âge & Napoleon... usually they are different grades The bottle is in good condition, capped cork sealing with tin foil. Level is good - low neck - inside the cardboard bord a pencil mark "6/78" probably for purchased June 1978 In Armagnac, the Romans introduced the wine, the Arabs introduced the distillery and the Celts brought the oak barrels. Armagnac is born from the association of those three cultures. Bottle guaranteed not leaking as we lay all bottles down for 24 hours prior to listing them for sale. ABV: 40% 1.58kg - 24cm high
