Very rare car this unique Lancia Beta Coupe 1600 first series from 1974 (second and third series are much more common), especially in such flawless original condition, inside and outside, with a sound structure and no traces of rust, no accidents, in perfect working condition and recently serviced (timing belt was also replaced). This is one of the early units of the first series, presented in September 1973 at the Frankfurt Motor Show and marketed in mid-1974; this can be seen not only from the original registration information in Turin (TO L78849 of 24th December 1974, plate in the old square format), but also from the particularly low frame number (828AC0*006424*). Exceptional condition of this super-equipped model (alloy rims, pneumatic horns, heated rear window...), in Dark Brown colour and with two-tone brown/ochre velvet interior upholstery, can be related to the careful and limited use of this car over forty-five years, in which it has travelled just over 33,000 km, absolutely original mileage. In fact, the first owner of this car sold it to the second, current owner a decade ago but the new owner rarely used the car, continuing to store it in a dry and air-conditioned garage, and taking care of maintenance meticulously. Bodywork is pristine, shiny paint is still the original one, perfect chrome, interior with intact plastic parts, wood and upholstery (the only flaw is a small tear in the velvet on the rear left headrest). From a functional point of view, this Beta Coupe is really like new, all its sporting drive is intact (please see vintage tests of Quattroruote and British Autocar), the engine runs perfectly, it has excellent compression, no leakage of oil or other fluids, it doesn’t emit smoke, in a nutshell it is perfectly fine tuned. The rest of the mechanics is also flawless, clutch, gearbox, brakes, steering, suspension are absolutely in order and efficient, no strange plays o noises. Very good electrical system, all equipment and instruments are in perfect working condition (even the clock on the dashboard). Everything is in order with regard to documents, there are vehicle registration certificate (no longer the original one, replaced for loss a few years ago), original 1974 title, original purchase invoice from the Lancia Benedetto&C dealer in Turin, warranty certificate, user’s and maintenance manual, as well as of course tool kit, spare wheel and original jack.
