In good condition Poljot Shturmanskie 3133 movement. Rare model. Length, including the strap: 230 mm The strap is made of genuine leather. It is 18 mm wide. Brown colour. History In 1975 new watch machinery and equipment for manufacturing complex watches was imported from Switzerland. The first chronograph “Okean” (cal.3133) was produced for space station “Sojuz-23”. Poljot 3133 based watches were taken into space by cosmonauts from Russia, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany and Ukraine. On the wrist of cosmonaut Valeri Polyakow, Poljot 3133-based watch set a space record for the longest space flight in history. 14 months or 437 days and 18 hours. Dimensions The diameter of the watch excluding both crowns is 38 mm.  The diameter with crown is 45 mm The hight of the watch is 45mm. The thickness is 13.3 m. Diameter of the glass is 35,7 mm Dial The dial has 2 layers.  The first one is dial itself and the second one is a rotating inner bezel with hour marks. The last one moves around the dial. The dial is grey. The hour indices are applied . They are of rectangular shape and polished. There is a blac strip which splits the hour indices. 3,6,9 o`clock are busy with other elements. So there is no indices there. There are 2 subdials at 9 and 3 o`clock. Subdial at 9 o'clock counts seconds it has a scale of 60 units. Subdial at 3 o'clock  counts minutes. It has a scale of 30 units. The calendar is positioned at 6 o ``clock. There is no quick set function. Principal dial has 3 hands. Hour, minute and chronograph seconds hand. The last one is red, others are of metallic colour with lume on them. The seconds subdial, runs all the time, the chronograph seconds hand starts by activation the top-pusher at 2 o'clock. After 1 minute passed, minutes subdial moves 1 minute forward. Chronograph stops by activating the same top-pusher for the second time. To reset the chronograph use bottom pusher at 4 o'clock. Inner bezel is rotation both ways, by using the crown at 9 o'clock. Case The case is made of stainless steel as well as screw down case back. The sides of the case are well polished and the front side of roughly polished. The crystal is acrylic. The case is made as a solid piece. As far as this watch was designed for pilots the pushers and crowns have norubber seals. This watch is not to be used with water The watch has no water resistance. Keep it away from water. Movement The watch runs on legendary cal.3133 which was based on a movement initially produced by Venus, watch company in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Switzerland. It can be traced to Venus cal. 188 which features a cam lever mechanism first patented by Landeron in 1940. The Venus produced the cal.188 from 1949 up untill 1966. Another Swiss company, Valjoux, bought the tools and rights to produce the Venuse cal.188 and continued to produce a slightly modified varsion of chronograph, rebranded  cal.7733 and cal.7734 with date function. The early production Valjoux cal.7734 most resembles what is known the initial production of the Poljot cal.3133 to be.  In 1973, new 7750 automatic chronograph appeared on the market. Valjoux discontinued production of cal.7734 and sold the tools, and the rights to produce the chronograph to Poljot. The movement runs on 23 Jewels. Balance wheel makes 21.600 bph or 6 bps. Power reservee is 50 hours. The date shifts between 11 and 12 o`clock. No hacking. Only manual winding. The minute sub dial makes an initial jump when the top pusher is used. After it goes smooth.
